Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine & Research, Bangalore, Karnataka, India is a maiden venture of Sri Krishnarajendra Charitable Trust (SKRCT) registered under the Indian Trust Act as a non-profit making organisation whose main objective is to rejuvenate Ayurvedic Education and also to initiate research and development in Ayurvedic Medicine globally

COURSE OFFERED:

The Indian Institute of Ayurvedic College offers bachelor degree course in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The course begins in November. The students must have scored at least 50% marks in their qualifying examination. The total intake is limited to fifty. There is no reservation of seat.

ELIGIBILITY:
The students should qualify by 10 & +2 (Science) with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and they should also be aged at least 17years as on October, of the year of admission.

DURATION:
The duration of this course is 5 & 1/2 years. This course includes three semesters. Every semester is of one and half year's duration. The students have to undergo one year of internship in any ayurvedic hospital.
