SHRI BVVS AYURVED MEDICAL COLLEGE is attached with a 150-bedded hospital. The hospital is fully equipped and established with several IPD and OPD wards that are attended regularly by highly qualified doctors.

The college also has an extensive herbal garden beautifully sprawling over 5 acres of land within the college campus. The garden has over 500 different medicinal herbs and shrubs. This comes in handy during practical demonstration of the usage and application of plants and their parts.

Library
The college is provided with a well established and spacious library that has a seating capacity of over 100 students. There are more than 10000 books that include a number of rare ancient literature. International and national journals with regards to the subjects are also available for students. Besides the medical AV aids, digital library, net connection and HELINET facility (RGUHS) are also available.

Hostel
The institution has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostels include all the basic amenities such as spacious and well maintained dining room, indoor and outdoor recreations, TV room, multi gym, telephone and generator back up.

Other facilities

The college auditorium is fully equipped with audio visual aids. It has a seating capacity of 2000 with ideal acoustics. There is an open air theater in the college to conduct cultural events and yoga camps with a seating capacity of about 500 students. What’s more, the college has two big playgrounds for hockey, cricket and football as well as an athletic track.

Eligibility criteria

To join BAMS, the applicant should have passed PUC or an equivalent examination (that comes under RGUHS listing) with English as one of the languages and PCB as optional subjects, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of the relevant science subjects (40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST students – Karnataka state). Management quota admission in SHRI BVVS AYURVED MEDICAL COLLEGE is also solicited.
